Our Story
Andy & Lesley

For us, Texas isn't just a place—it’s a feeling. It’s the sound of cicadas buzzing on a hot summer night, the smell of mesquite smoke drifting from a backyard pit, and the golden glow of a Hill Country sunset that makes you pull over just to stare a while. We love Texas because it feels like home, whether you were born here or just passing through.
We love Texas for its freedom. The spirit of independence runs deep here—you can feel it in the wide-open roads, in the way people speak their mind, and in the pride that comes with waving the Lone Star flag. Texans are fiercely loyal, unapologetically bold, and proud of their roots.
We love Texas for its diversity. In one state, you can explore deserts, forests, beaches, canyons, and cities that pulse with energy and culture. From the street art of Austin to the missions of San Antonio, from two-stepping in Fort Worth to sunbathing in South Padre, Texas offers something for every soul.
We love Texas for its food. Nowhere else can you find BBQ that melts in your mouth, breakfast tacos that heal hangovers and heartbreaks, or Tex-Mex so good it should be its own food group. Every bite is a celebration of heritage, community, and flavor.
We love Texas for its people. The hospitality is real here. Strangers wave as they pass on country roads. Neighbors lend a hand before being asked. And stories—tall or true—are always flowing at the local diner, gas station, or dance hall.
But most of all, we love Texas because it’s alive. It’s untamed and unpredictable. It’s old-fashioned and forward-thinking. It’s a land of grit, heart, and soul.
And once Texas gets in your blood, there's no shaking it.
